  18. Numbers don't mean everything.  The percentage of complaints for the
  19. Sportster modems seems very high compared to the other big sellers; i.e.
  20. Motorola, Zoom, Supra, and even Cardinal.

  22. I suspect Motorola's recent aggressive move into the consumer market with
  23. the ModemSurfer, etc. low cost line will tilt the scale considerably.  My
  24. local Computer City has just received a TON of these modems and they are
  25. moving very well.  Their USR stock is very low now.

  27. Motorola has been the dominent force in business modems for years - watch
  28. out for them in the consumer area.
